Review of SPSS
Getting an analysis workflow in place takes more effort than the intuitive interface initially suggests. Once configured, it handles complex statistical work and large datasets more capably than spreadsheets. That reduces preparation, though not every step. I still need to validate permissions during implementation, since clear analysis is useful only when the right people can reach it. The setup remains the drag. I value the analytical depth once the workflow settles.
Still worth the setup.
Review of Proposal Kit
Initial sorting takes patience. The sample library is extensive, so deciding which material belongs in our proposal workflow adds real implementation work before the team can settle into a consistent approach. Once that work is done, I can adapt documents for grants and contracts, with instructional guidance helping keep the result organised. That matters here.
The breadth ultimately earns its place, and the Mac and Windows support suits our setup.
Worth the initial effort.
Review of Deltek Costpoint
I rely on an ERP built around compliance for project work, and its detailed controls make routine setup feel demanding. The audit trails and project costing are useful, though aligning daily work with compliance requirements takes more care than in a simpler system. The reporting is built for audits, but that depth does not make adoption effortless.
I would weigh the oversight benefits against the effort required to get teams working consistently.
