Review of Atera
Monday's open ticket review is where Atera is earning its place for me, because having RMM oversight and PSA ticketing in one platform makes it easier to see what the team is handling without jumping between separate core tools. I am still getting everyone comfortable with the workflow, and that part needs more attention than I expected.
Reporting is useful when I am pulling together a quick picture of support work, and the per technician pricing feels sensible as managed devices grow across clients, which I like for its predictability.
A solid choice, with onboarding still taking work.
Review of Notion
I am keeping Notion in the team rollout because its pages, documents, and databases give us one place to shape our working knowledge. The flexibility is useful for an education team, with notes, wikis, tasks, boards, calendars, and project tracking sitting in a workspace we can adapt as we go.
That helps adoption. Still, I need clearer onboarding before asking everyone to build consistent pages and databases; otherwise our updates depend on how each person sets things up. I am optimistic, and the setup still needs more guidance before it feels easy for everyone.
