Review of Dovetail
Client interview findings were ready for our education account update sooner than expected, with notes, analysis, and files together. I tagged recurring comments inline and shaped the readout in the collaborative editor, which helped colleagues follow the pattern without sitting through every interview. Sharing the resulting report gave our client discussion a useful starting point, and kept the original observations close at hand.
I had to show teammates how to move from raw comments to an interpretation, since a clear workspace does not create stakeholder buy in alone. Sentiment analysis helped surface themes, though we needed a shared conversation before treating them as conclusions.
For a small account team, the accessible way of bringing qualitative research together made the extra coaching feel manageable, and worth keeping in our workflow.
Review of Google Maps
Getting the school visit schedule back on track felt like a small win, because I could check the route between campuses, follow traffic updates as the morning shifted, and send the same mapped plan to colleagues who were trying to coordinate around a client meeting, without spending the call explaining every turn or asking everyone to interpret a spreadsheet.
That made the handoff easier, especially for people who did not use maps much, and the familiar layout meant little training was needed before the visit. Still, I had to get everyone comfortable sharing the route, and location details did not answer every question, so I checked the plan with the account lead; for a budget review, that seemed manageable, though team agreement still took extra explanation.
