Review of OpenWater
It gives our awards program a shared place for applications, judging, scoring, communication, and winner recognition, so I can move the process forward without relying on the manual folders and complicated spreadsheets we used before.
The tradeoff is that a complete awards process still asks people to learn a new way of working, and the judging and communication steps need clear ownership before the whole group will feel settled; I would plan time to walk stakeholders through it, because the platform handles a lot, but a smooth rollout depends on people understanding where their part begins and ends.
