Review of Swept

Easy Operations for Cleaning Teams

I find Swept useful for keeping a cleaning operation organised, but getting staff comfortable with it takes more explaining than I expected. People need to see how schedules and inspection notes fit the day, and I repeat the basics (not thrilling). It does bring staff and clients into one place, which makes daily coordination feel less scattered. Once people know the routine, it is easier to keep work moving.

Training still matters, especially when several people need to adopt the same process at once (which takes patience).

I like that daily work can be kept together, though I mainly care that the team can use it without turning every small task into a hurdle. That takes patience, but the central view is helpful once it clicks.

Review of EdrawMax

Clearer Process Drafts with Useful Diagramming Tools

That approval flowchart was the page everyone kept asking me to explain, so I rebuilt it in EdrawMax before sending the manufacturing review packet around. Templates and a broad symbol library make the first pass pleasantly quick, and the interface is clear enough that I am not translating every click into a training session.

Still, getting the diagram to feel ready for legal and operations takes more judgement than the tidy screen suggests, especially when each group expects its own view. EdrawMax handles flowcharts and other diagram work in one place, which is useful; convincing people to learn another tool is the less elegant part. I can see keeping it for occasional process drafts, though broader adoption needs patient walkthroughs and a reason for busy colleagues to care.
