Review of Reftab

It fits the work without making a fuss.

When a support request comes in about a laptop or tablet, I need to know who has it and whether it is ready to go, and a clear asset record helps, because check in and check out, maintenance tracking and reporting feel manageable even for colleagues who do not spend their day in IT, giving a healthcare team a sensible way to handle handoffs without making each update a project, while the straightforward interface helps keep work moving across a busy day. That simplicity is a real plus.

Before I put it through a budget review, though, I would want to understand how it sits alongside the systems our support team already uses, since asset details are most useful when they can inform the wider conversation and I do not want to assume connections that have not been established; still, the core job is handled with a sensible amount of care, and the low cost positioning and approachable design make it easy to recommend for tracking shared equipment.
