Useful for Team Conversations and More Control

Getting a team comfortable in a communication workspace takes more than opening a chat window, and the control here is both an appeal and a demand on patience: messaging, audio and video calls, and screen sharing give people ways to keep work moving, while customisation and self hosting let an organisation shape its environment, with data protection and privacy treated as central concerns; for a finance team that feels sensible, but onboarding still has to explain where conversations happen and why the setup matters, or people may see another place to check instead of a workspace they understand and trust.

Once settled, having conversations, calls and screen sharing in one configurable workspace seems useful, especially for teams that want more control without giving up familiar ways to communicate and support different work needs. I still find the learning curve a real drag, and getting everyone to use the space consistently takes deliberate explanation, particularly when flexibility leaves choices to make; even so, the privacy focus and range of conversation tools make that effort feel worthwhile.
