Quiet security that covers the basics well

For personal devices, I want security software to be boring in the best way. Norton AntiVirus does that. The protection covers the usual serious threats, including malware, phishing, and ransomware, and the cross-device support matters if your household is split between Windows, Mac, and phones.

The extra tools are unevenly important: firewall, useful; VPN and password manager, depends on what you already use. Still, the core protection feels steady. Not much babysitting required. Day to day, anyway.
