The handoff finally stopped feeling scary

I was nervous before we turned this on because every team had its own little way of tracking updates, and I pictured a week of people asking where the latest record went. Instead, the first clean handoff felt almost boring, in the best way. One manager checked the update, nodded, and moved on.

That sounds small, maybe too small, but it was the moment I relaxed. The sync tool did not make our process glamorous. It made it quieter. Nobody had to chase me for a copied value at 4:45, and I went home without replaying the cutover in my head for once, which almost never happens here anyway that week.

Start by mapping critical systems first; missing connectors may require phased architecture changes or alternatives.

Yes. Process owners and admins need practical training on mapping and exception resolution, not just technical setup.

Track reduction in manual correction effort, integration delay, and reconciliation errors over a defined pilot period.
