Getting everyone aligned on the standards takes more attention than I expected, and for a finance team trying to keep job data tidy that setup feels fiddly.
Once the naming conventions are agreed, having people work from the same definitions is useful, and I can see how that helps keep information more reliable for reporting. I still need clarity about who should define and enforce those standards across the team, because if implementation is left vague we spend time checking details again, which is exactly the sort of small admin friction that gets under my skin.
